The Company
Excel Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in March-2000 with a view to create the distinguished brand among the prevailing similar standard brands. It only could be achieved through constant improvement in quality through R & D innovation & a vigilant watch on entire process. The company has already acquired An ISO 9001:2000 Certification and recently received "Bhartiya Udyog Ratan Award" by Indian Economic Development & Research Association - New Delhi.

Company's manufacturing unit is situated in the industrial colony on the outskirts of Morbi, right on the National Highway No-8a. It has been spread over a spacious area 38000 sq meters from which 80000 sq feet is built up area that consists - Office Building, Raw Material Storage, Kiln, Press, Processing Plant, Testing Laboratory, Inventory, Finished Goods Storage, Dispatch Rooms, Fuel Storage Tank and Quarters for Workers.

Promoters
Promoters of the company are family members and relatives. Shri Jethalal R. Patel, the chairman of the company is a veteran industrialist who has ventured first into manufacturing of Roofing tiles in the early seventies. Simultaneously having partnership with Ajanta Transistor Clock manufacturing company. Which has earned a name & fame across the world. Shri Sureshbhai Patel - Director (Marketing) has 15 years experience in manufacturing of roofing tiles namely Ajanta Rani brand. Which was known for its quality. He also was a partner in Ajanta Clocks & Ajanta Ceramic. He is looking after developing of Domestic and International markets. He also looks after production and quality control.

Shri Ashokbhai Patel, the Managing Director is a young and dynamic entrepreneur of our time. He has 10 years experience of directorship in Orchev Pharma, a well-known bulk drug producing company. He was in charge of Administration, Marketing, Government Liaising and overall supervision. Other directors Shri Rameshbhai Patel, Shri Savjibhai, Shri Shantilal Patel, Shri Karamshibhai Patel also have experience in various field. They are looking after production planning dispatch, day to day maintenance of plant, personnel department etc.

The Plant
The Plant consists a Heavy Capacity Press, Glazed Lines, Loading & Unloading Machines, Roller Kiln (all made in Italy), Boil Mill Grinding Unit, Spray Dryer, Raw Material is procured from famous supplier and being brought from Rajasthan.

Excel brand floor tiles are available throughout the country in a variety of colours and designs, which includes newly introduced 16" x 16" (400mm x 400mm) size in Black Glossy Print, White Glossy Print, Ivory Glossy Print, Bhama Glossy Print & Satin Matt Print Series. And 12" x 12" (300mm x 300mm) size in Plain, Cloudy, Special Plain, Super Special Plain, Ordinary Colour Print, Ordinary Colour Anti-Skid, Ordinary Colour Embossed Anti-Skid, Special Colour Anti-Skid, Special Colour Embossed Anti-Skid, Special Wooden Glossy Print, Special Black Glossy Print, Special L. Blue Glossy Print, Special Ruby Red Glossy Print, White Glossy Print, Ivory Glossy Print, Bhama Glossy Print & Super Special Glossy Print Series. The company has future plan to develop 8" x 8" size and many other sizes. Company also has interest in development of similar line products in future.
